The idea
Collective commerce for groceries. Rather than one warehouse competing with the local trade, VeBy aggregates live stock from many independent stockists into a single customer-facing storefront, and delivers next day.
Why the partnership matters
It was started with MDCPSA, one of the oldest stockist associations in the region, with 700+ members. That gives the supply side of a marketplace — usually the hard half — a pre-negotiated route in, and it means the existing trade participates in the platform instead of being disintermediated by it.
